I will often do TFCD work if you are willing to sign a model release as much of my trade work is strictly for stock image use. (With stock images, the photographer hopes to sell quantities of the images over time through a stock image agency at a few cents/dollars each. ) If you have a need / interest in TFCD, lets talk (979-922-4797).

What TFCD Means
Time for CD (TFCD) with D. Keith Photography means:

  •  we each give of our time for the purpose of creating photographs that will be beneficial to both parties.
  • The model receives no monetary compensation but will receive a cd or dvd with at least 5 acceptable photographs for each hour of the shoot,  on a cd or dvd provided by the photographer within 2 weeks of the photo shoot.
  • Photographer retains full copyright on all photos.
  •  Model will receive at least 2 professionally touched up photos for each hour of the shoot (as part of the 5/hr ). 
  • Photos given to the Model will be "Best of Shoot" in photog's opinion.
  • The cd/dvd given to the model will contain 1 full size high resolution picture and 1 medium size lo resolution picture for each of the poses given. For example, if the shoot was for 3 hours (not including MUA time), the model would receive a cd/dvd with at least 15 poses - photog's choice of the best of the shoot. Each of these selected images will be delivered with a high res full size jpg and each with a low res medium size jpg (suitable for posting on web)
  • Model will be "delighted" with each of the images selected for their "trade" cd/dvd or else photog will offer to do a complete re-shoot providing the model has come prepared as noted below.
  • Additional photos may be offered to the model for purchase if the photog has a sufficient quantity of quality images from the shoot.
  • Photo shoot sessions will be 2 to 4 hrs as mutually agreed and will be at a mutually agreed upon time and location.
  Model should come Prepared at the appointed time, ready to shoot with:
1. hair and makeup done (or arrange for  Make Up Artist and communicate plans with photog if MUA is going to be on site),
2.  nails done (close up acceptable)
3. wardrobe - at least one or two changes
4. having had proper rest and be in an upbeat frame of mind

  • "No shows" by either party are very unprofessional and not acceptable.
  • Any cancellation should be by BOTH phone and email as early as possible and no later than 24 hours before the shoot.
    Note: please print and bring a signed AND WITNESSED copy of the model release with you to our photo shoot.

Model escorts at shoots are welcome and even encouraged,
providing they do not interfere with the shoot and are willing
to model and/or assist with lighting chores.

 

Please:
Let me know if you are bringing an assisting escort (as opposed to a modeling escort). For best efficiency on shoots I use an assistant. If you are not bringing an assisting escort (someone to hold small speed lights and assist when moving gear from one location to another) please let me know so I can arrange for an assistant.

Shoots of Current Interest (Also Other Ideas and Suggestions ) :
1. Outdoor or Studio:

  • Christian theme - reading Bible, reaching heaven ward, praying etc.

  • Lifestyle - couples in love - studio and/or outdoor, reading book, playing etc..

  • Portrait poses - for Senior portraits etc.

  • Business Theme: Headshots, Talking on cell, Using a headset, Working at computer, Welcoming gesture,  etc.

2. Country Living Theme:  at Varner-Hogg Park in West Columbia (open 8am-5pm), Jesse Jones Nature Park in N. Houston (only Wed. between 1-4pm),   Brazos Bend State Park 8:00am to 9:00pm, Surfside, Quintana or Bryan Beach (all day - any day) or other quality outdoor locations.
3. Student and College theme - individual or couples: Brazosport (or other) College Campus
4. Glamour shots - studio - headshots - various lighting and props and model's wardrobe changes

Note 1: Saturday and Sunday I am not available for shoots
Note 2: PLEASE, for studio shoots,  bring a cd or two with upbeat music that makes you happy and smile easily.
