Before the Shoot:

• What are travel and payment arrangements: TFCD (Time for CD) etc, Model paying for what and at what rates, Photographer paying for what and at what rates. Standard unless otherwise agreed is:
  - Photog pays for his and assistant's time, travel, stock photo props, equipment and supplies
  - Model pays for his/her and escort's time, travel, nails, makeup, and wardrobe
• Wardrobe and Makeup - What is needed and who is responsible. Unless otherwise agreed, standard policy is model to be responsible for own MU or MUA (make up artist), nails close up acceptable, and to come with at least two wardrobe changes:
  • Something preppy (and feminine for women). Please wear this to the shoot as it will be the primary wardrobe.
  • Something casual - college or beach wear
  • Other by previous arrangement
• Copyright for all shoots with D Keith Photography stays with the photographer unless specific written agreement otherwise.
• Unless specifically agreed otherwise, all shoots are based on the model being in a good physical and emotional state.  Escorts attending should be aware of and in agreement with terms of the shoot ahead of time and shoot schedule should be in harmony with dates of a positive emotional cycle (no PMS times for women), and no serious illness or emotional stress in life foreseen for date of shoot. Necessary reschedules should be done ASAP and no later than 24 hours before the shoot.
• If there are particular shots / locations / looks / poses desired by the model, please email examples / info to photographer for prior review and agreement.
• Date, time and location of shoot as well as transportation to and from. (Unless agreed otherwise, both photographer and model/escort are responsible for their own transportation.)
• Note: please print and bring a signed copy of the model release with you to our photoshoot.

During The Shoot:

• How much direction the model wants - more or less.
• Breaks: either party should request a break whenever needed.
• Have fun!!!
• Models are actors / actresses ... for the moment, emotionally and intellectually "be" the ideal person in the current shot.
• Do Not hesitate to ask questions OR make suggestions / requests.
• At each photoshoot, try and get at least one new fresh shot for your portfolio for each of the four basic modeling photographs:
  • one headshot (a close-up of your face) with a smile,
  • one without a smile.
  • one full-length body shot and
  • a half-length body shot.

After The Shoot:

• Make sure you receive your proofs as agreed (either on cd, webpage or email)
• When you get your final enhanced or touched up photographs for your portfolio, ask for a change if their is something that is not 100% satisfactory to you.
